CHALLENGES
Challenges in the prison system
Prisons face a wide range of security requirements. Locks must be resistant to forced opening, tampering, and intelligent attacks to ensuremaximum security . At the same time, they must withstand the high demands of daily use with up to 1,000 locking operations per day, as the frequency of use in prisons is extremely high. To simplify processes for staff, flexible access control is required that allows different access rights to be defined for different user groups such as security personnel, technical staff, and emergency services. In addition , the locking systems used must comply with strict legal requirements to ensurestandard-compliant security .
